Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-11
These terms (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Password Generator website and its password generation tool (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The service
The Service provides a browser-based tool that generates random passwords, memorable passphrases, and numeric PINs entirely on your own device. The Service is provided free of charge, for general information purposes only.
2. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Generated passwords depend on your browser's random number generator and on the policies of the services you use them with. We do not guarantee that any password you generate will be accepted, remain strong over time, or keep your accounts secure.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the passwords you choose to create and use. In particular:
- you should not reuse the same password across multiple accounts;
- you should store generated passwords only in tools you trust (password managers, personal devices);
- you should comply with the credential rules of the services you use, including any character limits;
- you should not use the Service in any way that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- harass, abuse, or harm any person or organization;
- circumvent access controls of any system or network;
- use generated credentials to attack, probe, or abuse third-party systems;
- scrape or load the Service in an automated way that materially degrades it for others;
- violate any applicable law or regulation.
5. Third-party websites
The Service lets you create credentials for third-party services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and using a generated password does not constitute any endorsement of that service.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Password Generator and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, access, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or from any credentials you create with it.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new “last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
